Zombieland Headshot Fever: Reloaded - Characters

My first game credit!
Zombieland Headshot Fever: Reloaded is an enhanced remake of the Quest 1 predecessor, brought over to Sony's Playstation VR2.
-----
On this game I was tasked with helping re-create the original game's zombies as well as creating entirely new ones, aiming to push the diversity and visual impact as much as possible across the cast.
I was responsible for sculpting, retopology, baking, and texturing, as well as cooperating with a talented team and sharing numerous assets between ourselves for quick zombie creation.

-----
The task was an exercise in implementing narrative into bites, wounds, bloodstains etc, especially for the 4 Unique Zombies introduced over the course of the game.

A modular approach was also required for model creation, both for repurposing assets between zombies, but also for gameplay purposes as zombie's heads and limbs can be removed.

Huge shout out to Emily Davison, who not only shaped the art style of these characters from her work on the original game, but also provided many of the original zombie body sculpts for us to work from.

In order to capture the feeling of the horde a massive amount of zombies were created for the game, and that would not have been possible without the rest of the character team. Please check out their profiles below!
